My name is Jean Foote.
I became visually impaired, about 9 years ago.
The field of art, and crafts has been in my blood, for as far back as I can remember
I was born in the suburb's of Trumbull Conn.
I learned about life in Bridgeport Conn.
I moved up to New Hampshire in 1988 when I became pregnant with my first child. I wanted a safe environment to raise children in.
I have been in the "Advertising Field", newspapers mainly for the past 27 years. I had to recently retired due to my vision loss.
I have had type 1 diabetes for over 49 years, and I have developed what they call diabetic retinopathy.
Instead of giving up on life, I decided to start my own business JFoote Inc.
I train and teach small businesses how and where to advertise.
I also design logo's, ad lay outs and business cards.
Art and design came hand in hand in my advertising world.
When I create something , I know how to promote it as well.
Most of my drawings were created through "Life's " little experiences. They gave me the strength and the courage to battle, the dragon's that life threw my way.
The biggest "Dragon" I have had to deal with is loosing my sight totally in one eye, and experiencing hemmoraging in the eye I have left. Hopefully the strength and courage I used to create these pieces will be paid forward to those who purchase them..
